Icon8 Trouble after attempting to unistall GWX

I have seen a previous thread on Steam Community about a problem similar to mine. I delete SH3, all of the GWX related things, and when i reinstall SH3 Vanilla, the game crashes when I attempt to start a patrol. It crashes on both old saves and brand new ones. I tried compatibility mode, admin, restarting PC.

Nothing is working

Icon14 Fixed

After hours of testing, i found that deleting the entire contents of the SH3 Steam Library Manually and verifying content fixes it.

SH3 is like SH4 when it comes to loading old saves from a mod that you are no longer running, in that the game does NOT like it. It's always best to get rid of the Save data if you're changing the mod, unless you use MultiSH3, and have separate Save folders for each mod...

Strangely, it seems that the developers of SH3 never thought that their game could be modded one day !
