Default How about another Subsim-meet?

Topic says it all.

Is there common interest? May I propose some locations to visit?

I propose to visit one of these boats:
  1. U-2540 (Wilhelm Bauer)
  2. U-534
  3. U-995

Laboe and Bremerhaven are about 300kms from each other, with Hamburg in the middle. In Hamburg, there's a Russian uboat from the Cold War (Tango Class).

A visit to all 3 subs would not be impossible. Just a thought.

Hm. Has nobody else than us two read this?

Both German boats would be a bit much for one day, since you must calculate breaks and time for travelling those 300km, right?

According to the 'views' column, 240 people have.

It's a good idea. Post a mirror thread in the GT forum.

Better you do that - SS infracted me because of doing just that and I now see that unjust infraction every time I log in here

Aside of that: Cool that you react - you already have a bunch of PMs to your questions in your inbox...

"Unjust?" You were infracted for starting three different threads in three different forums which contained nothing but a link back to another thread. Even then there would only have been a warning if you had not already been warned more than once before about doing this same thing.

If the website's owner suggests you create a second thread then you can trust that you have his blessing, and that's the end of it.

I apologize for saying this in public, but I felt I had to respond to a public comment.

The underlined portion is not correct.

I propose we move this out of here then to not derail the topic too much.

And I post a link to "here" where Neal suggested and we deleted these 3 posts here.

OK? You got mail.

Thank you a lot.

A second thought: It makes me wonder why this very thread here has more clicks (>500) than the one in GT: How about another SUBSiM MEETiNG ?
