radar Russia test fires Pantsir-M naval AAGM system in Baltic

The Project 22800 corvette Odintsovo (pennant number 584) has test-fired the Pantsir-M naval AAGM. (Russian MoD).

Quote:
M-6 compact air-launched targets released by Naval Aviation Su-27 combat aircraft were employed during the test.

Set to join the Russian Navy (VMF) in 2020, Odintsovo is the first Project 22800 corvette armed with the Pantsir-M naval AAGM system. The Baltic Fleet now operates two ships of the class, Mytishchi and Sovetsk with two AK-630 close-in weapon systems each instead of the Pantsir-M.

Karakurt-class is a fairly large corvette more like a frigate.

Only on paper with I have read before that P 20386 has very good equipment of both Missiles, CIWS plus some other goodies. Strongly reminiscent of the next generation Corvette that Sweden will produce, this one also has a design like Visby class.

My point was that those small missile ships are actually not large corvettes, comparatively speaking because they are much smaller than the 2038x series.
