Default Suez Canal

Is there a mod to open the Suez Canal?

On the map I see there is no way through.

Thank You Pro, I never saw that mod when doing a search.

It's late here so will check it out tomorrow.

Prop beat me to it, great mod, on the must have. Does include some modifications to Harbor traffic and bases though. Also, make sure you have the patch as well, its in downloads. The mod adds Suez Canal in addition to the coral reef around Truk and Sofu Gan mod.

Thanks, I installed it and it looked like the Suez was still not open, then when I zoomed it I could see the channel.

If you use waypoints to drive through, be sure and zoom WAY in, so that you do not attempt to drive across land. Same for the Panama and Kiel canals. In the Panama Canal, there is one spot you might have to either have a tug help you ( ), or use the manual transmission and reverse gear ( lol ) and do an Austin Powers move to get around a corner or two...

Yes I did zoom in when plotting the Suez, I have not tried the the other canals yet.

I have in the past made the mistake of not zooming in when plotting and ran aground as you say, thus damaging the boat and end of mission.
