Default Hello fellow tankers!!

Thought I'd take a minute an introduce myself to the forum since I'm spending a lot of time here now.

I'm a 62-year-old retired Systems Person who worked for a big-city newspaper for 35 years. I relocated here in Central Florida with my wife and two cats four years ago.

When I'm not PC Gaming I'm training on my bike for participation in Competitive Cycling events.

My interests are Military History (books, music, film, diecast models). My gaming includes RTS: Theatre of War, COH, Total War, etc. Sims: SH3, IL-2, LOMAC, ROF, OFF, StrikeFighters, EECH and BlackShark. Favorite sims, of course are armored: SBProPE, TvT, SFK42, T72, Panzer Elite SE.

Its' great to see this forum becoming so active again! I've already enjoyed communicating with some of you guys about TvT.

Special thanks to ZeeWolf and Mikahyl for their patience and help. Even though I haven't been successful in getting the ZeeMod to work on my Vista system, I really appreciate the revival of TvT and your hard work on the game.

Hopefully we can solve any and all problems in the future. Looks like we have a good forum and good people here and I'm glad to be a part of the crew!

A belated Welcome Aboard Trek!

I'm vacationing on the coast here, so I've been playing Panzer Elite+PEX until I get home, where I'll finally get to try out the Zeemod on my gaming PC

I've been digging into history for a long time, and I've been doing a lot of modeling lately, I just got a Dragon Jagdpanther Smart Kit.

and I agree, it's great that TvT is going through a revival, and that this forums become a lot more active.

Hey Guys, Tanks for the Welcome!

Dowly, Is that a picture of your pet Ferret? My daughter had two of them 10 years ago, they were great pets (like having two youngsters around the house that like to play all the time!)

ZeeWolf, Yeah, I'm afraid I've tried the self-installer two times to no avail. For some inexplicable reason my particular Vista PC doesn't like your MOD. I haven't experienced Modding problems much but it HAS happened from time to time. No matter, I had fun trying to get it to work.

Chucky, Thanks for the shout out!

SledgeHammer, Funny you should mention your JagdPanther. My wife and daughter gave me a Heng-Long 1/16 scale RC JagdPanther, green camo with metal tracks. Its' an Airsoft Battle Tank and shoots pellets 100 ft.
Has an authentic engine sound and belches smoke out the rear exhausts
I chase my cats around the house with it (I don't shoot at 'em though!)

Check out the pics of it on this site under Airsoft Battle Tanks:

I don't want to hijack your thread trek but could you tell me step by step what and how you installed the auto-installer version.
I need to build up data for future vista users and some place guys could come to find out these things. So if you would not mind I am all hears.
