Just stumbled across it today myself. An open-source project seemingly brimming with promise. Must say I'm duly impressed with what little there is. Though far from a finished effort, I was able to mount a war patrol with the included editor with some degree of satisfaction. The interface stands wanting, but the ocean effect was not at all bad. The bluesy opening score, a stand-out for sure. Pray some of you talented modders would tackle this and take on what could turn into a very surprisingly engaging sim.

Ive skimmed through the code and the assets for my own project inspiration and its quite well built but would have to back-step and reverse engineer quite a bit to start on a solid "line" towards a full game. Its great work regardless especially OS.

interesting. I think getting the combat effects working and sonar and sounds would make it decent. Especially ships on fire, smoking and sinking and the deck gun having better effects.

I got a version of it from sourceforge, not sure if it is the latest though. i like everything about it, it just needs to be finished. At the moment, each time i tried a mission everything is all messed, like my sub sitting in the air or stuck on a 90 degree angle in the water, so i am not sure what i can and cant touch so far and or where is a no-go zone for now.
