Reopen this thread to tell you that the Danish tv channel TV2 have produced a serie called "Efterforskningen"(DK)="The investigation"(Eng)

Quote:
That series, “The Investigation,” which premieres in Denmark and Sweden on Sept. 28 and will screen in Britain on the BBC later this year, focuses on the investigation into the murder of the Walls’ daughter, the Swedish journalist Kim Wall.

My fear is that this series will turn into a entertainment show.

I will see tonight's first episode.

The Producer of this series, said in the yesterdays primetime news

This series focus on the investigation and not the person who was involved in this.

The intentions are one thing but unfortunately the income controls in many cases which contributes to profitability.

I am astonished the parents agreed to do this, but maybe this time it is a different approach(?)

If there's one thing I can say about this series and this first episode, then it must be.

I was positive surprised.

My fear it would be a CSI look-a-like came to shame.

My fear it would have some actor acting as Peter Madsen-Came to shame.
He was never filmed(the actor of course) during the program the homicide boss asked what he had said in some of the interrogation and his co-workers filled in what he had said and claimed.

So I'm definitely going to see next weeks episode.

A Danish news paper have written a review

Only taking some part of the article

"
It seemed like a bad idea - which is why TV2's Kim Wall series works surprisingly well

On paper, TV 2's fiction series about the murder of Kim Wall sounds like a bad idea, and the first episode was missing one thing in particular. Still, you want to see more.
Then we started the 'Investigation' with Søren Malling at the helm as homicide boss Jens Møller in search of the truth about what happened in that submarine that night on the Sound.

First, it seems a bit tame with a crime series without a perpetrator.

It is already a bit annoying in the first episode that Peter Madsen is kept completely out of the action. Fair enough that we do not see the probably barbaric scenes in the submarine, but I would like to see him twist in the interrogation room. It's just not as exciting to hear some police officers refer to Jens Møller, what 'he' has said.

In addition, however, it does not matter in the first instance that we first and foremost follow the case from the point of view of the homicide boss.
"

Edit
have read a comment written by one of my close friends

"I'm not going to watch a second of that broadcast.
The killer sits and flatters himself because in his brain the movie is about him. He is a narcissist and psychopath and he loves to be noticed and talked about. So no thanks."
End edit

Markus

Sounds really weird to me but it may be one of their coping strategies.

It was obviously your choice to work on and admittedly I worked for eleven years after full release of my pension but there comes a time when you have to get out of the saddle......62 3/4 years of age was the right time for me but each to their own I suppose.
