Default Weather Forecast

Sitting in the North Atlantic in December isn't pretty. Rough seas and near zero visibility is plaguing my patrol. I'm fighting through it, but it's rough. I have read that the devs created a bad weather bug. I saw some possible fixes, but the challenge of the bad weather seems OK with me, just frustrating. I would love to get a weather forecast...not a weather report... a forecast of the next let's say 12-24 hours. That way I could plan attacks and patrol areas. Writing this reminds me of George Kostanza from Seinfeld: "The sea was angry that day, my friends... like an old man trying to send back soup in a deli."

No weather forecasts.

You can use H.sie and/or Stiebler patches on weather fix and EnvSimAct_10 mod to correct the constant weeks on end storm.

Good hunting,

Also, when bad weather fix activated in Hsie, you can adjust the storm & fog duration via the Hsie.ini file (with note pad)

is it possible to tweak the weather fix so I get more like 8m/s weather. It seems that 0 m/s is too frequent while using the stiebler weather fix.

Thanks for the suggestion guys. I see the weather as a challenge and am not looking to "fix" it at this time. I figure the North Atlantic is a hostile environment and it I'll take bad weather over aircraft ANY DAY!

In coordination with the EnvSim.act 10 of Stiebler, you have to tweak different parameters inside the scene.dat (wind changes & rain for the main)
You can open his NYGM scene.dat and take reference...
Doing so, i have the best weather changes ever, with not too long each weather state.
Don’t forget to deactivate Hsie bad weather fix along Stiebler EnvSim act 10!

So I need to use ENV sim act 10 by stiebler and his scene.dat? What values to use in hsie.ini?

No values needed in Hsie.ini, as you don’t activate bad weather fix when you use EnvSim act 10...
