The plane should be simple to name, but what is she carrying?

A Cherry Blossom. I forget the Japanese name for it. "Ohka?"

Well done

The US named it 'Baka' (Japanese for "idiot").

Thanks for the links. I haven't read about that plane in years. I think the last time I saw any specifications for it was at least 6 years ago, in a Jane's Aircraft Encyclopedia.

Just for laughs, I though I'd include this link

WARNING: It is done in crazy-style Japanese animation.! Complete with Engrish!
Note that the Cherry Blossom pilot and the Americans are the only ones who don't look like monkeys. Japanese culture fascinates me to no end, probably because I don't understand most of it. Could that be because of the huge difference in language style? Or is it something else?

In any case, I found that video by accident while looking for footage of Focke-Wulf Ta-152 fighters. This is what I found during that search.

No subtitles for that one, so I understand it even less.

But it made me think of something else. Why do the Japanese seem to love Nazis so much? Or at least, why are Nazis(and Nazi themes) so prevalent in Japanese Anime? I'm not about to watch animes to find the answer for myself, because I think I would have seizure, but I keep stumbling across youtube anime videos that are consistent with a nazi theme.

For that matter, what is the obsession in the U.S. with Rising Sun flags? I see that stuff alot on tricked-out "Rice-burners".

Well, whatever, it isn't my place to tell people not to display swastikas or imperial Japanese insignias.

I just wonder what the motivation is.:hmm:

That is correct.

Nakajima G8N Renzan, code-named 'Rita' by the Allies, captured by the US at the end of the war.

Maybe what you're searching for is leading you there, I haven't noticed anything like that

Anyway, any more obscure bombers?

Here's an easy one!
Name the bomber and what it's carrying.
