Heh actually I tried... see the stop watch in the first screen grab?

It was a good shot too... damn torp went right through her. Did you notice btw her boatspeed... speedy thing she is.

Shame it was too rough for deck guns... but I'd be willing to bet that wont work either.

She looks like a normal contact, except as noted before it says "What is this?"

It would be real easy to pass it off as a combat vessel. Like I said I nearly turned tail and ran.

"50+ patrols...............

I've never seen her.

Is she found only in one area?"

I gave the deatails as to time and place... dont really know if that helps or not

Yes, it only appears in one area. You should see what happens when a Japanese ship runs across the dutchman.

Damn, now I am as curious as all get out. Does she attack them I ponder, but would not want you to spoil it for all those that hate such things. Gives me something to remember to ask around about at the upcoming Subsim Meeting. If I still don't know.

Not really a spoiler as pretty much everyone knows about it by now. No she dosent attack, no she cant be attacked. Good luck catching her.... check the speed in the position keeper

Yes, me too. Seems to like the Balintang Channel area for some reason.

I wouldn't attack it, shows as friendly, very bad things could happen to you. Bad ju ju man!

Holy Canolli's bat man... o.0

Dayyyummm... 22 knots.... that ship's getting a hell of a tail wind... that's following it around like a lost pup... or else the ship's dragging a pork chop behind it...

Watched thro the scope at a jap shelling it, the dutchman totally ignored it. Long long time since I saw the dutchman, but then again, not exactly been looking.
