Well, if they had given me permission to modify their files, I would've done an RSRD version. But they wouldn't so...

In the immortal words of Professor Farnsworth:

"Good news everybody!"

lurker_hlb3 has given me permission to create an RSRDC version!! Stock version is already done, so all I need to do now is the RFB and the TMO versions.

I'm going to pull the 3.0 version now. Since it's just some copy and paste now I should have the 3.1 uploaded sometime today.

A big thank you to lurker_hlb3 for letting me do this now.

Haha, I just found out about your massive update and since I'm about to start a new career with RFB+RSDC the timing couldn't be better!

Thanks Fred

I've upload a patch for my Pre Pearl Harbor Career Start Mod. See the first post for details.

Thanks to Scottb8411 for finding and reporting the problem, and for confirming my suggested fix worked.

GJ Fred.

With your RSRD version, how is the JP TF setup. Can it be attacked Dec 7 on. I assume the TF is in RSRD as I waited at the historical date for it to return through the Bungo. It did show up on Dec. 20, leaving Manila was easy to get there in time.

I assume this is Lurkers work, but haven't looked and don't know where or what date it spawns. Be cool to ambush it Dec 7.

The PH attack TF is in the stock game too. It doesn't appear to be in the proper place at the right time, but it is there. In the few tests I ran I didn't actually come across the ships, but did encounter carrier aircraft. So the TF is there, just no airstrike.

As for ambushing it, there's some kind of bug in the time that doesn't show the Japanese as hostile until well after the PH attack, so I don't think you can attack them and get proper credit before then.

If you want to see the course of the TF, use the Mission Editor to open the Data\Campaigns\Campaign\PearlHarborAttack.mis file.

Fred,

Do you think the TMO 1.9 version will work OK with TMO 2.....think it would be OK...

It should. I don't think there's any difference in what my mod affects from 1.9 to 2.0.

On the subject on the midget sub, i hope you know that You may have sunk one of them!
But the other sub got into the harbour, not many know this but they discovered it when a photo was analysed and they found a stray wake that had come from a submerged midget submarine.

They say that out of the 5 midget submarines that Japan built only 4 have been located and surveyed.

Maybe a small update could include hunting one if that is at all possible.
Would be a great thing for us to try as a Pre-Attack mission wouldn't you agree?

The problem with doing that is the midget subs aren't modeled in the game, so there's nothing to hunt.
