This has all to do with reality and science, and nothing with petty politics not able to see ten years into the future.

Well the reality and science about it is that the USA is years away from a non oil dependent society. So why not use the most efficient and safest way to move oil? The USA has 2.6 million miles of pipeline in use today. The proposed Phase 4 of the Keystone XL is 327 miles. Like I said this oil is going to go to the USA by some means. But when you are virtue signaling science and reality be damned.

Canada's carbon tax system is a joke.

Huh? Joe Biden does not make energy policy for Canada.

Frankly, were it not for jobs connected i would not shed one tear if this tar sand project would be terminated. Any recovery of this area would already now cost around 250 billion dollars. Of course no one will care of recultivation when the money has been made.

And I would bet any money that if this oil reserve, the Tar Sands the third largest in the world, was in Germany you would be using it.

Other than that, I'm sure we are going to see one very confused President. The confusion not of his own doing but from age. Biden is exhibiting issues. His wife is propping him up.

I'm anxiously awaiting each instance of Burden forgetting where and when he is in front of other nation's leaders. Bonus points if we see him soil himself because the Depends leaked.

What amazes me to no end is the overall lack of foresight by most Americans today. I guess that's a pattern of history, people don't truly grasp the momentous shifts until they are well-underway and totally impossible to ignore.

This is really going to be Obama term 3 with all of these cabinet picks - "the big guy" is going to be calling a lid by mid-day for the majority of his term so they can hide his mental decline.

They're hitting all of the woke checkboxes regardless of qualifications - as an example, they picked Levine for a spot despite all of the elderly nursing home residents that PA managed to murder when they sent covid-positive people into them last year and not allowing people to get their elderly parents out (but Levine's own mother was whisked away from the nursing home she was in before they sent them in).

A whistleblower previously indicated that Burden is on Namenda for his dementia and his campaign staff actually had a meeting to discuss which adult diaper would be most discreet, leak-proof, and least likely to make plastic crinkle noises when he moved.

I think most sane people want someone in government who gets things done on their behalf - it doesn't matter what party, nor does it matter how "polished" the person is.

What we have starting 36 minutes from now is a government full of people whose only driving necessity is getting re-elected and lining their own pockets. One can only hope it results in a stagnation in their ability to do anything.

The issue is American memory span is the same length as a shoe lace. The riot at the Capitol was insane. Everyone just aghast! But all forget 4 years of federal building takeover, riots, looting and the shooting of senators who were simply playing softball. Many sat with a few encouraging this activity for the past 4 years.

Stop the Keystone pipeline? Yep, the billions spent will be wasted. Jobs lost. Nothing makes sense. Canada is already making a stink about it.
