Superb work on these videos, Herman.

The past couple days I've been tentatively slipping a toe back into the waters after a couple years of very little/zero gaming, so I'm just now catching up a bit and breaking radio silence, &c.

I was checking out the tutorials, but then got involved in the AARs--these I found extremely enjoyable. Very interesting to watch someone else playing and stressing out a bit (as opposed to my prematurely balding self). I've never been quite able to fully catch on to the nuances of Harpoon--or get over a feeling of being overwhelmed--but I do believe that I found some tips that hopefully I'll absorb and be able to improve my game somewhat.

Keep it up, shipmate. I've bookmarked the Youtube channel, and will be watching.

That's very kind of you to say. We're just glad we could help you enjoy your game a little better.

Personally, I think the best videos are the ones where you can see both sides playing:

Nigeria
http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list...ature=view_all

Dawn Patrol
http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list...ature=view_all

To see both players blundering around in the dark is a treat.

If you have any special requests, we always try to accommodate players.

Welcome (back) aboard, shipmate.

I am unable to get a database to open. I can't find H3CD.

The H3RE gives me a run time error after pressing one of the "buttons"

DB portion of the scenario editor seems to not be working. I use the drop down and I can get a long bullet button list of equipment, but there are no other buttons in the window. I then have to close the program and start it over.

OK, here's a request. You may already have done this in a video, but I think there's a Harpoon scenario ("Return to the Kola Peninsula"??) about a nuclear strike on the Kola Peninsula by B-52s and A-6s. Sort of end of the world, but I'd really like to see this scenario run by somebody who knows what he's doing

This was initially and primarily meant as an After-Action Report for the Celebes Sea Slam scenario written by Mark Gellis. However, it also covers the reliability and level of function found within databases like the HUD4.
