Sonar destroyed?

I think this is an old problem and I did a quick search but got all kinds of irrelevant and unhelpful returns.

I am trying to leave Lorient with an "at sea" start via SH3 Commander so I don't have to spend time getting out from the bunker and deal with 5,000 ship sighted messages that knock down my time compression.

The first message I get is sonar destroyed. Any ideas? I'm not that busted up about it as I never use the thing anyway, just curious as to why I am getting this message.

It should only appear with type IXD2 and VIIC/42, depending on which mod you use.

Thanks for that. I have downloaded it, but I see no reference in the extracted mod archive to the VIIC42, which is my current boat. I am using LSH2015.

I am a rookie but i understand that you don't use the sonar, one of the most important equipment a war submarine has at it's disposal?

I don't use it in the game. If I need the depth under the keel I ask the navigator.

I mixed it up with the hydrophone
