Oh boy....well, how to tarnish your reputation after being at the height of it with Witcher 3.
I've played it from day 1, got some 70hours in it but couldn't get myself to finish the game. From the opening I was sucked in, the first few hours with Jacky is what it was about, running along something that introduced you to the world of Cyberpunk 2077. But as soon you're let go onto the streets.....is where this game epicly fails...the main plot is good, the narration and delivery is there but when you pry yourself from it and savor the main quest for a bit later to do something else it becomes a soulles and empty game. Unlike the world of the Witcher the World they created in Cyberpunk isn't that interesting to explore. Your chosen background is nothing but your run of the mill ''checks'' in dialogue scenes but do nothing more then that...not adding any flavour to the playthrough imo. Then there's the ton of technical issues which games 10 years or older in similar open world design did better.... this game wasn't ready and it was too late at the same time thanks to the management of CDPR. I've put the game in the freezer and I probably revisit it in a year or so but I'm going to be more sceptical when it comes to CDPR in the future.
