Always have had a habit of researching the boat I am using in the game. While had read about Tambor's ordeal in the East China Sea, this is an excellent account I had not read before.

One of the most amazing reads I've ever been fortunate enough to see. It really highlights both the well engineered boats and their crews. Talented and brave geniuses, one and all. With this in mind, though we play a game that is a mere shadow of that reality, our imaginations can fill in a picture of it and appreciate both those who made it and those on eternal patrol.
