Modern sub. A total overhaul is possible?

I really like this game but IIWW, U-Boat, Germans etc. etc. have bored me a lot.
So anyone knows if there is a mod that change uboat into new subs? Keeping gameplay but changing setting.

I dont think anyone has made such an extreme overhaul mod

Pretty sure this has not been done yet, because we do not have adequate modeling & modding tools. However, they have spoken about releasing a complete SDK after development of the title is complete. Such a big mod may be possible later.

Possible, but hell of work and its needs a very experienced c# programmer with a lot of time to do this. So, this will not gonna happen soon i guess...

If someone could completely overhaul the game and fix the bugs it might be worth playing.
