Default BEST MEGA MOD 2013

Good Morning

It has been a long time since I was last on here so hello everyone again.

Ok please can someone help I have SH4 and the add on Uboat Missions.

I am looking for a mega mod and I see the following 3 mods,

Op Monsun

Real Fleet Boat

Trigger Maru

I understand that op Monsun is for the U boat addon?

Guys what would you say is the best out of these mega mods please for 2013?

Also if I am playing American can I have both a Op Monson and Real Fleet Boat added / Tigger Maru ? Or is it one or the other?

Thanks Guys and it is good to be back smashing the enemy lol

Andy

"Best" is a very subjective turn. Just go to General Topics and look at the 'Beautiful Women' thread to see what I mean.

First, there is another supermod called "Game Fixes Only", which makes it a point to make the stock game enjoyable.

Real Fleet Boat strives to make everything - the boat's functions, enemy AI and the like - as historically accurate as possible.

Trigger Maru Overhauled runs on the concept that if everything is exactly as it was then it will be easy for the player to know everything and gameplay too easy. TMO makes it harder than it was with the idea that if he doesn't know what the capabilities are then the player will play more realistically.

Both are very popular and which you choose is really a matter of personal preference. Of course you can download MultiSH4, which helps you run several different versions of the game and keep them all organized.

It's possible, but they all change a lot of the same files, so you'll end up with certain details from one or the other, but not all. This is where MultiSH3 really is your friend.

It's not a supermod, in that it doesn't affect gameplay or graphics. It is strictly a campaign system which works with any supermod, the point being to have historically accurate ship movements. In otherwords, while there are versions for Stock, RFB and TMO, RSRD was never designed to be a stand-alone game-altering mod.

You forget the fact that it's also a stand alone mod and it does effect gameplay. Destroyers getting more competent as the war goes on and such. It also adds ships(Hello Shinano!) Heck the only thing it doesn't effect is the environment and we have some good mods for that.

Fair enough. On the other hand you could have just told him "There is also RSRD etc."
