Why
TextFlags=0x8
TextFlags=0xA

Try
TextFlags=0x4
TextFlags=0x6

I found 1475 occurrences of TextFlag= in the Stock menu_1024_768.ini
(010 is your Friend for stuff like that!)

Not a single one uses a Letter such as 0xA 0xB and so forth.
Could be an invalid statement.

I'm still unable to get the value of the length to pull from the ship.cfg and displayed. Only getting the zero value. I'm able to get the OTC mod to work in a stock version of SH4.

Using that Menu.ini file as a reference for the length sections, I still get no value from the KSDII version.

Could it be because I'm using a text editor, and re-launching the game to see test results instead of maybe using a menu editor of some type?

Hey Niume, my attempts have not been successful on adding the length value to the recognition manual, but I have added the text field, made an adjustment to the speed value positioning, and edited some of the ship image files to get these... Could this be useful to your cause?
