What is the best GWX compilation mod out right now?

For a new player to the subsim forum it may become overwhelming or confusing what mods are essential or what compilation mod they should get.

I'd like to know for someone that wants to play GWX 3.0 for the first time or come back to it after a long hiatus which compilation mod has the most stuff included that is easy to install/ready to go instead of finding them all and having a 'mod soup' in jsgme. I must have essential patches hsie & stiebler, 4gb patch, Resolution fix patch and SH3 commander included in it.

There's 3 main mods i'm looking at which are:
1. OneAlex's GWX 3.0 Compilation mod which includes the base sh3 game
2. Toyotagt86 GWX 3.0 Compilation mod
3. Anvar's Grey Wolves Rework mod

What one would be best for me or a new GWX player?

Basically, the reply to your question is a matter of tastes, and some will say it is this or that the best option, but as you know, when tastes come into play, it's hard to say which one is best. Each and every one of them has tasty things...

My favorite flavor in this case is Onealex because it has updated campaign files, lots of ships included in the roster, nice radars in the sub and a looong etc.

However, GWR has nice things too, like updated Italian ships, (I think it has the same subs models as Onealex, I am not sure)...

So far, I didn't test the new release of the GWX mega mod, but Onealex has all its features included... The best thing you can do is try them and see which ones suites your tastes... Hope this helps.

I have already answered in another thread, but I will add that the best U-boats in GWR! The screenshots above are enough.

Fair enough, thanks for the quick reply, I started using Onealex's one (everyone is recommending that and say I can't go wrong) and will look at the GWR once I get more familiarized with GWX and SH3 again.
