Hello, all,.....sorry if I am in the wrong place but I am a bit lost.

I was answereing a PM from Onkel Neal, who was wecoming me to the site and I somehow lost the site and could not complete my reply so, if he happens to read this, I apologize Onkel. I don't know what happened or where I was in my reply to you.

Anyway, I'm glad that I found this site and I am happy to be here. Now if I can figure out how to go about setting up my SH3 game I will be a happy camper/captain. Any and all help will be most appreciated.

Hello, Black Swan,

My SH3 edition is from Ubisoft, and I am thinking that of all the places where I could download SH3, I picked the wrong one.
I think that it is v4, and I can't locate the right patch anywhere....can't load in GWX3...can't do much of anything so, I'm a bit frustrated.
Things have got to get better.
Perhaps the "WolfPack" that Mr. Neal spoke of in his welcome to me will work for me.

sorry hear your still having trouble installing GWX did you install SH3 and the 4Gig Patch outside Program files x86 just on drive C:/ or on another drive like D:/ like in the pic below



if so then install the 4Gig Path then click on the GWX Wolf Paw Icon and then GWX will ask where you want to install it you have to direct it to the wright drive and SH3 Folder like in Pic below it shows drive C:/ thats an old install i reinstalled everything on drive D: just to test it and it worked.



GWX3 Should now start the install process like in the pic below

I just now saw your post.

Everything seems to be working ok at this point but, what the hell do I know. LOL

Trying to get through the Naval Academy and learn how to do tings but, I'm slow and in no hurry.

The main issue for me is the size of the mouse cursor. It's way too small for me but, I posted in the 'modders' section and got a coulple of pointers so, perhaps I will be able to find and see the cursor.
