Merry Christmas and thanks for the present but it doesn't work. I'm getting a fatal error on loading:

"Script Manager Syntax Error in Scripts\Editor\MenuConfig.script Line=178 Char=9" or something thereabouts.

Could you please check this script? Thanks again, and good luck with your Projects.

Sincerely
Edward

Sorry about that I will upload a fix but until then if you could find the

ZWMods\T34vsTiger\Scripts\Editor\MenuConfig.script

open in any text editor and delete one coma at the end of line 177

[ "T34-85-44", new CInsertObjectDescr("GameObject","CTankT34_85_44Uni t", "MilitaryTruck.bmp") ], <---delete this coma here! and save.

That is it!

Merry Christmas again. Sorry to tell you but it still doesn't work. While I'm here waiting for Santa to arrive I made the above correction noted and now I get a new fatal error:

"[Script Manager] Duplicate Class "CDotConcreteUnitExplosion" definition"

Could I volunteer to be a beta tester for you

Sincerely
Edward

Sweet! It works
The Russians kicked my butt

Note:
As shown above: when you damage the Russian tanks, the damaged area's
turrets, hull and tracks etc show as tan pieces.

Thanks to ZeeWolf for this cool beta

Merry Christmas again!

Do NOT give up! Remember you are a tank warrior!
A tip: shoot the turret first. then quickly target another tank.
and thanks for the heads up on the texture error you can now
download the fix.

Hi Murkz, I found the problem.
In file ZW_Mods\T34vsTiger\Models\u_veh_T34_AI852.script

At line 198
"Textures/u_veh_t34_85_turret_Crashed_2.tex", // texture name

Remove the _2 so it looks like this:
"Textures/u_veh_t34_85_turret_Crashed.tex", // texture name

And I will add the fix to the main file and upload it as well as a single file fix.

Default Zanta is Here! Merry Christmas!

ZW,

I reinstalled it like you said, but the game still hits a brick wall. Everything is "ok" till I meet a bunch of Russian troops or tanks, then I can't every control the driving or gunner. It seems like I hit a "key stoke" and 10 seconds later the game does it My gun site move 30 meters to the left when it should only move 1 meter. It jerks and shutters. Don't take it personal, but I am getting frustrated

Is there a key stoke that will show the FPS as I play?

I do like the cool new mission and model updates Not a bad first try as a beta. Plus you have a lot of us to "beta" test

Do you think it is the "coding" of the game like posted above?

T-72 was like TvT. I good game, but never finished

PS:
I feel bad for you this Christmas. Here we are playing a game, as you patch and listen to us ask questions every 10 minutes Hope Santa left a nice gift under your tree

RE
You know I might have believed you if I knew very little (or nothing) about TvT and may even have (after listening to speculation) decided to avoid it. But that is certainly not the case. You speculate in your frustration and I understand the frustration when it comes to this Sim. But if I handled my
frustration by speculating TvT would be dead and gone.
So if you want to work with me then is fine but if not then I'm sorry
I can't help you.

ZW,

I am not frustrated with you or the mod. I really do appreciated all the hard work you have done and still are doing.

I meant that Lighthouse and the developer didn't finish the game. You are doing a GREAT job! You have done A LOT of hard work and I bet have a ton of long nights into it. You are a man of your word. You said you would release a "free" mod on Christmas and you did.

I am in this for the long run If you need more information on my system or issues (related to TvT), ask me and I will compel

Again, I didn't mean anything towards you or anything you have done so far! I am like you. I tanker
