Cruiser sighted!

An unarmed cruiser dead ahead! or ??

Choose which version you like, the first two screenshots are the same except scaling in the y-axis (up and down). I kind of like the shorter one, (second one) for the purpose of the cruiser.

OR

I'll model the turrets seperate so they can rotate independently at their targets in case you're wondering.

This next shot is it sailing off in a easterly direction. I like the proportion and just overall feel of this ship.

And I've made a small video of the animations for one of the humans!

Either right click and click "Save Target As" or just left click it and stream it. It's .wmv which doesn't always stream correctly, only reason I mention it.

I never pictured the wave as that! Now that you say that, that's what I see too!

Yes, I plan on releasing a small demo shortly along with a video for others.

The artist for the human was done exclusively for Iron Coffins by Arteria.

Here is their website: http://www.arteria-gaming.com

Good quality, low-cost, work

Yes I paid them for their work. Possibly more for other contract work for more models of humans.

Currently the player can move around the sub, including up a ladder onto the deck, and back down. The player can open hatches and close them, fire torpedos, and basic drive functionality of the boat.

What did they take for that ?

And were this the only animations you got for that price that can be seen in your vid ?

I very much liked that animations

There are a couple more animations that I didn't show, but those are secret!

I paid $320 US for the model and the animations.

Cool, that is a good price. I just don't have any money to pay them

Chad, I am very glad that you haven't gave up in all this time and all the strong competing projects. The indis of the beginning days of subsim.com are mostly gone now and I started to feel lonely here. It's good to have some companions again. Lets keep this small fire buring for all times
