Having recently downloaded GWX_DFa-Flag&Pens_2010 I noticed that the Watch Officer reacts to [Shift-F] when activated and the flag is raised.

Does anybody know how I can add the phrase to the Speech folder so that when the [Shift-F] keys are pressed the Watch Officer says "Flagge Einholen"?

Well the first step I think, would be to make a voice recording of that phrase.

EDIT: Also, if German isn't your first language, you might check with one of our German members here, to see if your interpretation is how they might say it. Google German to English translation shows your phraseology to be "Increase the fighting standard."

Also, though you won't need to make three separate recordings to account for the different stress states, you will need a copy labeled for each of the three, for each of the nine voices.... so 27 sound files will need to be produced. (labeled for the usual stress states: Normal, Stressed, and Silent running.)

The sound files will be no problem but do you know how I can link the [Shift-F] keys to them?
It has to be in Commands_de.cfg somewhere?

German here. If "hoist (or raise) the flag" is what you want to say, then the German translation would be "Flagge hissen!" or "Hissen Sie die Flagge". The German word "Standarte" (die Standarte) refers to a certain milirtary form of a flag, but the flag that is hoisted on a U-Boat is not a Standarte.

If you want a German phrase for getting the flag down, that would be "Flagge einholen!"

Also, wenn du mit dem S3D umgehen kannst ... schaue dir die "Mechanik" in meinen UCS Mod an, habe es extra Übersichtlich gestalltet für andere User.

Muss du aber dann für jedes Boot extra einrichten.
Für GWX habe ich diese beiden Mods nicht geplant, da es zu viele neben-Mods gibt und es im jeden Fall immer zu "Problemen" kommen würde.
In TAM und UCS für CCoM und WAC ist das schon integriert.
Mit dem Flagge hissen / wedel-flatter Sound

Es gibt sicherlich auch einen anderen Weg dies zu ereichen.
Habe aber bis jetzt nur diese ausgetüfftelt.

ps: Schaue mal bei DMP vorbei, da kannste beide Runterlenzen ...
Bis jetzt für CCoM und WAC, kann aber auch locker für GWX angepasst werden, da die "Mechanik" immer für die jeweilige U-Boots.dat ist.

Certainly not, I was just trying to help you, you won´t find a singel mod.
Take a look at the UCS 3.01 Mod, then you will make it yourself.
I described it beforehand.
It's relatively easy once you see the structure, with the S3D.

Do You know the S3D ? ... and can you handle it ?
Then try the following Route.

Take the UAC 3.01 Mod and create a node for each submarine type, first only for the flagsound and who is ok, because for all other Typs. I have designed it very cleary UAC.



And Yes, you can use anything

Thank you for the positive feedback, the UCS & TAM as a Kombi is highly recommended, so there ias a better "Das Boot" Feeling to say in the middle of it. (Will be further expanded) But please consider ... if an Uboat.dat is changed, you hav to adapt the Mod again. mfG a-kermit
