Default [REQ] Engines Temprature working dials

I'm not sure if these dials really shows the engines temprature but i noticed that they are always at 0 °C.
Would be possible a mod showing the temprature, maybe increasing depending on the power you're using?

there are no dials defined for engine temp and thus would be hard, if not impossible, to do.

It is a shame that the devs chose not to implement anything to do with engine temp & failures. Many of the early games had penalties if you ran on Flank for too long etc. Probably would not have been too hard to implement, definitely a missed opportunity.

the game uses 'dials' to control and measure items. Speed, heading, torpedo doors, depth, etc. are all associated to a dial. I made a listing of all dials available in game. You can find them here: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...&postcount=151

They could be rigged up to RPM for a 'normal operating temperature', throw in a slightly varied scale and there would be enough variation to make it look reasonable. It wouldn't actually give you any useful information at all though.

It'd still be nice eye candy. I love the engine room Ubi gave us, but it still needs a lot of work, as is discussed in my Better Diesels post.
