Default [REL] software: silent hunter mod extractor

scuz my english sucks

this software detect all modifications you did in the game "\DATA" folder (and subdirectories) then create an unique mod containing all modifications you did or all mods you installed

1) install silent hunter
2) copy the original "\DATA" folder from the silent hunter install directory to another place
3) mod or install mods like usual. play & test
4) launch mod extractor
5) mod is created in the target directory

tested on xp/7 with SH4 & 5

hope it'll help

you are right...

you can do a big mod, including all your little mods installed.
for mod-makers, it extract only the moded files and create a mod.

JSGME compatible

don't forget to do a copy of your clean (just after install) DATA folder before modding. The software will compare all files and detect moded files

Thank you for your efforts!

Default Thanks and one question

My english is bad too,

But i think on "Milles-Sabords.com" they are not understand your software!!
They think you're soft is like JSGME and useless.(as JSGME work Great)
But if your software have the ability to mix all differents Mods and regroup them in 1 Compatible Big Mods it' s VERY VERY usefull.
Question: your software scan inside file (like .cfg/.inf) for discover the difference and rewritte a new file which include all the difference of multiple files mods ??

En tout cas bravo!

If the GWX team reconstitutes and puts out a supermod tomorrow, we'll know what happened.

the software do a raw data comparison (Byte/Byte) between original files (in the folder you copied just before moding) and the moded files in the moded DATA folder. If it detect a difference, files are marked to be inclued in the target mod directory respecting the folder tree.
The only problem is that if you just add a space in a .cfg file, it will detect the file as different and will mark the file to be inclued in the big mod.The software doesn't care about .cfg,.dat,.dsd.sim,etc... it just do a deep scan (ok it can take time)

ALL modified files will be inclued in the target mod folder.
