I hate to say it but I see the flag disrespected from all quarters and it's mostly due to ignorance and ambivalence.

When I was in the military-Swedish Navy.
I was tasked with the responsibility taking care of the flags on our ship.
I learned a lot about flag rules.
Like a flag that has done it's duty shall be burned or buried in holy land(cemetery)Before this the flag shall be packed in a certain way.

I too use to pledge the allegiance to the flag every morning in high school and Audie Murphy was my hero.

What if Trump as Commander in Chief says to the some 20,000 National Guard troops assembled to arrest Joe Biden on suspicion of over throwing the US Government and turning it into a socialist state.
