Is it just me or....

It's been so long since a really good tanksim has been out and now there are two, I had forgotten how much I like this genre! About 2 hours into playing T-34 vs Tiger and I realized it.

Hm, you had the opportunity to do so since two and a half years. I have realised over these years that tank-simmers seem to fall into two almost strictly separated groups: those preferring the modern stuff, and those wanting the old, mechanical, "robust" feel they attribute to WWII-tanks.

Since you play online anyway, have you ever tried SBP online? They say it's a blast.

Me, I eventually wait for Steel Fury instead of TvT, various feedback gave me the impression that for SP it is the better option maybe, and it is more compared to be the "successor" to Panzer Elite, which I played a lot before SBP. at least I wait for the release and then for the comparsions people will make, before I make a decision if I get one or both, if if one: which one. My standard for comparison maybe is too high, I don't know, it could be.

I'm with you on that one. I rarely if ever play online, so I am leaning towards getting Steel Fury, but looking at the gorgeous graphics of TvT doesn't half make it difficult to resist going into the shop and buying it. The only thing stopping me is, I know that if I do buy it, I won't be able to afford SF when it comes out.

Oh well it's been a long time since Panzer Commander, I can wait a few more weeks... I think.

yes my friend..it is a dilemma!

we have to concentrate and be effective at work, while our other half of brain works in a completely different direction! :rotfl:

it is hard to find the perfect harmony in this..I know..

Maybe I am affected by my past history, I worked as Ambulance pilot, flying Beechcraft Super King Air 200's..life was a "rock'n roll"..and now, I am sitting in an old cottage in the woods driving a Land Rover Defender..working as a petrochemichal plant engineer on the computer..
I miss the action!...I miss the military life..I miss it all..

SB Pro PE is a bit of relief though..almost..

with a lot of humour,

thank's for support
