Torpedo Selection
Using OM with OMEGU.
When I enter a port to rearm/refuel, it gives me a mix of G7A and G7E torpedoes. Is there any way to select which ones I want? |

In OM you have to manually reload the torpedoes. Just drag a torpedo from the left to any open slot. If you want to change a torpedo that is already loaded, you need to unload the tube by dragging that torpedo to the left and then the tube will be empty to be reloaded with the torpedo of your choice.

Are you rearming in your homebase? I think, like in sh3, rearming in otherbases doesnt let you choose your eels, so you get a mixed setup. Which year are you currently in. Maybe the g7e are cured from their faulty detonators and you can use them for daytime attacks. Or do you prefer them anyways?

Good point, I think I misunderstood the question. In my experience rearming at a different base than your home port will rearm the same torpedoes you left home with. There is no way to select anything else.

Thanks! I guess I just need to only select the steamers until the electric eels have good detonators. It is still 1940 in my current campaign. IXB deployed out of Lorient...

Hi,
As Designed by the Mod Creator (Lurker)- From the Operation Monsun readme/release notes: 6. WARNING When you return to port your sub "WILL NOT" have it's torpedo's auto reloaded. You will have to load the torpedo yourself. This is to ensure that the "wrong" torpedoes are "not" loaded on your sub. thread here: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=134922 |
