Hehe, yeah in that 2nd sortie I rammed the BF110 after a miscalculated turn, I try to swing behind the fecka to avoid beeing shot up by the Rear Gunner.
anyhow your IL2 graphic quality isnt right, no AA nor AF as far I can see? try to enable those in your Ati Control panel, mate it really helps you to spot planes from futher away and ofcourse to avoid that they are too pixelated when they at medium range which makes them hard to track if the landscape is of dark colour. yes Dowly, its mostly Spitfire IXC versus 109 G2's sometimes the P40 jumps in on the allied side. its a great campaign actually, short distance to target, even on 50 + aircraft there is plenty of action going on. Kratos and I are becoming some crazy RAF pilots, and for the first time kratos scored a kill and lived to tell that story (a Fat Ju52 which we started to call ''Fat Goering Carrier'') HunterICX

Those Macchis put up a good fight, they perform just as well as a spitfire only lacking in firepower.
Great sorties in that italian campaign HunterICX
