That would be like trying to mix water and oil. It would probably take 1 year or 2 just to get all the files to work together, otherwise it would have probably been done already.

Default Merchant ship summary sheet

I've produced a 1-page microsoft Word document summarising the merchant ship tonnage and draft data from the WAC 4.1 recognition manual. It can be found here:

Not possible unfortunately....look at the files and see the difference in content/changes.

Hi folks, i only would like to know, why there are so few ships on the sea. For example i had a patrol near US coast during january and february 42 (Paukenschlag and most ships i found were only Clemson destroyers. There are simply too few merchant ships, especally during this era, when Uboots had big successes against individual ships near US coast. i even waited just before New York port for 2 days and no merchant ship occured.
Do you have similar experiences?

Make sure you are sailing along any merchant route which can be found with the route map located in the Documentation folder. There is also a mod called Mapped Convoy Routes which adds the routes directly to the NavMap.

Also, you might find some within the harbors. Other than that, trying to find ships cruising around in open waters(Not along the routes drawn on the routes map) along the coast can be like finding a needle in a haystack. Plus, during that time during the war, there wasn't much going on yet.

In the guest book on his website he wrote (on Sept. 29th, 2010) that 4.1 is the final WAC version for SH3. Work on this mod has been completed/stopped.
Unfortunately, this information is rather hard to find for people who don't read/speak German, since you would not necessarily expect this info in a guest book.

I've been trying to install WAC 4.1.

Despite following the instructions to the letter, I have not achieved a successful extraction of the files. I have downloaded each of the three files one by one carefully without any interruption or pause or download accelators of any kind.

I receive messages in 7 zip regarding over 1400 broken files using Carotio's SH3 Modsite mirror. I'll try the Megaupload one later again today and will let you know.

P.S The Hansolo78 Filefront page contains only the optional mods??

Rechecked the archive on SilentHunterMods.com and found no problem
with the files If anyone else has had problems downloading these files as the
thread has recorded 12669 Views so I would expect that quite a few of these
were downloads please let us know Thanks.
