I finally saw The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (yes, I'm way behind the times). I hate being contrary, but I actually like the new versions better than the originals.

There are some movies and franchises that can actually get away with it. I always enjoy watching remakes, good or bad.

It's cool to see modern twists on dated movies.

Naaaaaa, Sam Raimi all the way, even if people don't like Tobey and the last movie (yes, many things should have been avoided in that). Marvel studios should get Spidey!

Went to see Birdman, very good film and performances. And it is full of great innuendos and other stuff about super-heroes films.

I wasn't judging. I like the originals, and I'm not saying I think one is better than the other. I'm just saying I like one more. The new ones are just more in line with the story I followed in the comics so many years ago.

Steve, I was not saying that you were doing that. In my opinion, the Raimi ones, were more in line to the story. The 1st of the new ones almost didn't had that "with great power, comes great responsibility" and the parents side story was almost batmanian (and a lot 90's).

Not to hijack the discussion, did of you saw the trailer for netflix Daredevil?
Spidey would be so good in that line of "Universe".

No, I had not even heard of it until now. It looks promising. Thanks for the heads-up.

Default Grand Prix

Watched the classic racing movie "Grand Prix"the other night on TMC, it's a pretty good movie full of drama and action, I had caught part of it before but it is a film you have to watch from beginning to end or else the rest of it doesn't make much sense.
