But I'll manage to get it... after hours upon hours upon hours of reading the manual and the flight instructor in the tutorial yelling at me. |

Alternative for creditcard, at least in Europe: Wirecard
It's an online wallet, kinda like Paypal; you transfer money to it, and then use the creditcard details they give you to make the payment online. Works anywhere they accept Mastercard. Can't go into debt since you can only spend what's in the wallet, which makes it fairly resistent to abuse as well: anyone who steals your details can at most access the spare change that's in there. It's part of or a division of a German bank, so not just some shady business. Used it myself to order A-10C, worked like a charm. Took about 3 days for the transfer from my bank-account to the wallet, and then instant purchase in ED's shop. 1 thing though: they charge €1,- per transaction, but that's when you deposit money into it (and presumably if you transfer it back to your account, if that's possible, not sure). They don't charge extra on purchases though, so no matter how many transactions you make with the money in the account, it's all free to spend.

Good lord, you know it's good when an X-52 doesn't have nearly enough buttons.
Probably take me longer to program HOTAS properly than learn to start the engines.

Oh cool, time to practice LSS, haven't used that yet.
Gonna take some time to figure out JTAC procedure though.

What a coïncidence.
Just some stuff tagged together. Bit of flying during a training mission, making a few gun passes, take-off, some more strafing from external/flyby, and landing. Kinda loud during take-off, but the sounds during external cam strafing are worth turning up the volume for. * just wish I could get a bit better quality. Windows Movie Maker doesn't produce anything exceptional unless I end up with over 2GB video that takes 3 days to upload.

Don't think it will show up for a while yet. Not even a date on the initial digital release, let alone the boxed version.
Seems they introduced something new with the DRM; should you run out of activations, 1 will be restored to you after 2 weeks, so you can't permanently run out anymore. Actually, you couldn't before either: ED never made an issue of making a new key available. But it's an improvement non the less.

Think being familiar with Falcon will make it a little easier to pick up. Lot to learn though.
I'll knock it off now.
