Lockdown rules have eased in England, Scotland and Wales.
Pubs and restaurants are able to serve customers indoors, and social distancing guidelines have been relaxed. But the government has warned outbreaks connected to the Indian variant of Covid could delay the next stage of easing restrictions, currently expected in June. https://www.bbc.com/news/explainers-52530518

Maryland finally lifted mask restrictions last Saturday. Though I noticed all employees at the local grocer still wear them.

The expert here in Denmark agree on that the use of facemask will be one of the last restriction who will be removed.

I carry one with me, I'll slip it on if I see others wearing one out of courtesy.

Face masks are not required for Californians that have had the injections as CA is near the bottom of the CDC demographic, but I will still wear mine in public as a sign of concern. I still feel the danger is far from over but welcome the relaxing of local regulation.

Nobody around here has taken any signs down so masks are still required at every indoor business that i've been to.

I dont pay too much attention to local news. So I found out about the lifting of the mandate today when I saw others in store without a mask.
I would say the vast majority of women customers still wore them. Most men didn't. I did only because walked in with it already on. But I do it in style with a Hirbawi keffeyeh, not some cheap chinese knockoff or low rent N95 chin diaper. lol

I find that the basic throw away ear loop mask is the most comfortable to wear and I do hate wearing them but I have to admit they were also pretty good at limiting the amount of dust I inhaled when I was working as a technician and they do conceal my frown when someone says something stupid during customer walk throughs. Coincidentally I was next in line behind a pudgy, soft looking young man who was sweating profusely under one of those Arab get ups in the dunkin donuts line up in Maine the other day. Like a cowboy hat or a kilt, it's definitely not a garment that everyone can pull off wearing without looking completely lame doing it.

After culling 15 million minks in November, Denmark is now digging up millions of bodies over concerns that they could pollute the surrounding area.

Same here in the UK and as much as I'd rather not wear one I'm happy to continue for a fair while yet.
