@Hans

Waiting with baited breath mate, feedback will follow asap. Judging by your works so far I'm sure it will be possitive.

Best regards.

Hi Fubar2Niner,

If only my internet connection would last more than 20 min I try to upload the sub video and it is in 2 separate videos because of the size limit from youtube, but believe me starting a campaign with my Typ IIA will never be the same again i even managed to redo the caustics animation if you remember before the caustic reflection was distort on the deck and it was ugly killing the immersion for me.

Now we will have nice dancing caustics reflection on the deck and the animation i have made is so much better than the original one.

I managed to breakthrough this one by cheating the game engine i mean i just rotate my new deck 90 degrees and export it to s3d and miraculously it work no more distortion

This afternoon if my connection is OK both videos will be online prepare for a treat

Best regards Hans

Hi Misfitdreamer,

Sorry i was quiet this week on the status of the project but only because i was adding more stuff to the sub and the Wilhelmshaven dock area like the authentic dock crane use at the time to replace the ugly yellow one in game originally the color was black.

Video will be released soon to show the latest work stay tuned mate

Best regards Hans

Yep, exactly!

Say, you have any plans on working on VII and IX subs? Would be dandy!

Hi again philipp,

I already said in another post that the VIIC will be next but since it is a lot of work i cannot say for sure that i will go for the IX type and it is also depending on the amount of references available, in a word there is a chance i will do it to like the VIIC but they will be released as single mod.

The reason is simple it is because of the type IIA different TDC layout it is impossible to integrated them in U-BOOTTYPIIA_HAHD.

Thank for your interest in my work i need that to motivated me

Best regards Hans

Hi, Kaleun, your work is awesome!

I want to try the mod now!...Is compatible with Type VII Flat Monkey Interior? No conflicts?

Many thanks!

^^ Ditto

Looking forward to this one, Hans. The interiors that have been and are being made for the Type II are beginning to tempt me away from the VII. A future career in the Black Sea might be in order.

Hi krashkart,

Wait until you see the new sub mate everything is redone : 3d model with first time ever in sh3 a full 3d deck in detail, skin, bow and aft spray, waterholes drain, wake, caustics light refraction, fully authentic flak C/30, open hatch on conning tower looking down you see the command room etc.

When submerged hatch closed of course

The video should be up tomorrow if my internet provider don't play trick on me

Best regards Hans

Hi Hans,

I am looking forward to your new type II! Sounds really great. Concerning your next project, please consider re-working the IX. I think it's much more in need of an overhaul than the VII which already got a lot of attention/improvements. The IX model in-game seems somehow wrong. See, e.g., here:

Cheers, LGN1
