I did see the Dark Knight on the weekend. It was good, Heath Ledger steals every scene he's in, but I still say there are other movies that deserve a higher place over the Dark Knight.

I almost laughed when the Joker used tom cruise's line "You complete me"

Ok, finally saw this movie. ...Yeah, it was good. But to call this movie as being the apax of filmmaking today. Gimme a break. Good script, good performances all around. But DAMN IT! That girl is still a hound dog baying at the moon.

Okie, seen it and liked it alot! Ledger does one of the best roles I've seen in a very long time in any movie, just darn scary! Bale did ok as Batman, but Ledger could've been the only person in the movie and it would've still been a great movie. One thing I absolutely hated was how Bale lowered his voice when he was Batman, just ridiculous! :rotfl: First, he speaks as normal person would when he's Bruce Wayne, but the moment he puts on the Batman suit, it's like listening to death metal or something.

It's certainly more violent and darker than the usual comicbook movies, but that's just plus in my book. Great movie and a great acting from Ledger.

EDIT: Oh, and these 2 vids sums it up what I said about Batman's voice (no spoilers, fan made spoofs): :rotfl:

just like British rock stars. You hear em speak and they have the lingo, then when they sing they sound like everyone else...
