I dare say that the "Evil Witch" might be used by some to scare their children into behaving. Perhaps, perhaps not.
It could be argued that, although they occupy/occupied very different political spheres, Nicola Sturgeon is a Scottish equal and opposite reaction to Thatcher. In other words Sturgeon elicits the same revulsion in parts of England that Thatcher did in parts of Scotland for broadly similar reasons.

Kåre Mølbak, head of the State Serum Institute, the national authority for the control of infectious diseases, said the strain had mutations on its spike protein, the part of the virus that infects healthy cells.

Everyone living or working in Liverpool will be offered repeat tests, whether or not they have symptoms of coronavirus.

Mayor Joe Anderson said the two-week testing pilot could save lives and stop hospitals being overwhelmed.

The UK has imposed a ban on non-UK citizens coming from Denmark amid concerns over a new coronavirus strain that has spread from mink to humans.

UK citizens will be able to return to Britain from Denmark - but will have to isolate along with all members of their household for 14 days.
