Thanks GWX team, I'm on my 14th patrol now and a lot of my best experiences with SH3 have been thanks to your work
My only request is a little optional mod that restores the old renown system? Also, this has probably been covered, but during one patrol I stalked a convoy and in the end attacked it five seperate times ... after the first, every boat in the convoy sunk down into the water and carried on, any deeper and they'd have sunk! And also I think something similar happened to my VIIB last night, whilst engaging a merchant my deck gun crew were continually submerged under water and couldn't fire, no matter how much I tried to keep the correct depth. I'm using SH3 Commander 2.7, and the wave height is standard Thanks again |

SHII Models
I don't think SHII/DC models can be converted to SHIII (or into any other format for that matter - they can just be imported into the SHII format). And the poly count is really too low anyway, which is too bad as there are actually a number of units in SHII which would be useful in SHIII. If someone knows differently, please post and let us all know.

Dolphins
I was refueling at a milk cow and was visited by two dolphins. Nice touch, they were even talking to each other. Always something new in GWX.

Melinibonian
Thanks for the answers. On a seperate matter, having taken a refresher exercise with torpedoes, even at 100% realism, it does seem a lot easier now to use manual proramming with the map updates; am I right in assuming this was considered to be more realistic? |

Please explain more about GWX.,segments
TO INSTALL: Download all six files into the same folder on your hard drive and run GWX.exe. MD5 sums have been provided so that you can verify the integrity of your downloaded files *before* installing. See "Optional (but recommended) files" below.
When you, or I,put the bins in the same folder, with the exe,& run the exe, then what? Or do they mean, put them all in SHIII,& run exe ? |
