Her strongest card in defending Peter Madsen, is:
The forensic/prosecutor can't determine cause of death. And this is a benefit for PM The Prosecutor is demanding lifetime as primary punishment or custody as secondary punishment. If the prosecutor shall have success in their demands, they need to find cause of death They could still give PM lifetime and base it on circumstantial evidence What I understand they are strong. It also made me remember what a friend wrote. - "I know in my stomach he killed her." I said- " In a court feelings are banned, only concrete evidence is of value. Otherwise I agree, he have killed her" Markus |

I'm not sure if it has been posted but talking about his wife I just wanted to add that she got a divorce and doesn't visit PM anymore. In the psychiatric evaluation PM did state that when she visited him before the divorce "they were cuddling".
Made me think about those women who write, visit, and marry murderers in jail. I'm not saying she is like that though. I can't imagine the horror she must have went through, knowing what her husband did to KW and what videos he liked to watch online. About the mark on KWs ankles from straps: PM says it is from trying to get her out of the sub and not from tying her down.. |

^ women befriending murderers or rapists in jail are mostly people with some serious mental problems, and most of them come to know of them after they have been jailed. Former Mrs Madsen will probably not keep such contact, not after a divorce which is most probably founded on Madsen's preferences of sick videos, his behaviour aboard and cruelties to Kim Wall. She is probably terribly frightened, too.
"In the psychiatric evaluation PM did state that when she visited him before the divorce "they were cuddling". " I guess this is as true as the rest of Madsens's contradicting comments. "About the mark on KWs ankles from straps: PM says it is from trying to get her out of the sub and not from tying her down.." He said he cut her in small pieces to get her through the hatch. I ask myself if he even remembers any of his previous "statements", or if he does even care at all. This is all so sick..

Here are some information about todays hearing.
Today it has been the prosecutor's and defense attorney's day. From about 9 o'clock to around 12 o'clock it was the prosecutor who led his presentation of the case. In this presentation, he placed much emphasis on this mental examination. He requires a life sentence or custody. from 13 o'clock until about 16 o'clock it was the defense attorney who led his presentation. She emphasized that the counterparty, the prosecutor did not have evidence of how KW died and this doubt should benefit her client. She demanded that the PM be released or at most get a judgment of 6 months. On Wednesday(25th of April) at 13 o'clock there will be judgment in the case. Here we will know if he is guilty or not guilty. It is only later that we will know what the sentence will be. Markus |

Personally I don't think he has a snowballs chance in hell. But what's his defense willing to admit that deserves six months?

Well, we now know for sure that PM does indeed have psychopathic signs according to the doctors who tested him. He is "a danger to others". Sounds to me like he'll get "forvaring".
He is "a pathological liar and manipulator". |

I'm not sure what the difference is if any between life and custody but I believe the eventual sentence should be life.

I was a little to fast earlier today(night time)
I heard The prosecutor and the defense talking to the journalist and I tried to remember what they said Later I could read their comments on Danish telefax First here is what the prosecutor said (have used google translate) Quote:
Quote:
So tomorrow will be an important day for Peter Madsen. @ Jim If a person gets life-He or She will spend their life in prison ordinary jail, most of them get out after 12 years-This is something the Danish court have to decide, if the accused can get out after 12 years in prison. Custody, common for most of those who have been given this type of verdict-is people with very sick minds. Here it is psychiatrists and psychologists who decide whether the sentenced person can be released into the society or not. You could say it is some type of psychological prison(is that the correct word in English ?) Secondly-If the court believe he wasn't sick in his mind when he did this terrible thing-they can give him life in ordinary prison If the court think he was sick in his mind when he did it-they give him custody. Thank you for keeping us updated on this case. We don't get a lot of coverage here in the US about this case.

I've just received a BBC newsflash on my iPhone stating PM has been given a life sentence.
