But my gratest "success" was, when Jimbuna asked me to find u-boat badges and I gave him a link to a NewView site. He came in pretty quiet and my engine was pretty loud so I misunderstood the "u" of u-boat as "new" and my brain (yes, I have such a thing) consequently added the "view" to it.
I bet after recieving the link he was asking himself what this Kraut was smoking.

Owwww.... you didnt backup your Files.sfs & IL2fb.exe??

What I use to switch between the modded & unmodded version of IL2 is that I have those 2 files backed up in a folder called "Stock" and I have another folder called "modded" with the 2 files copied from the soundmod. Then, I just copy & paste either the stock or the modded files to the IL2 1946 folder.

I have have 4.08 with mods off then I use JSGME to switch on either 4.08 with mods or 4.09 with mods (I don't really have a use for 4.09 without mods...)

Shouldnt look any different than the rest I've made. :p Tho, there's 2 things different; You see the props rotating and the cannon hit effects are slightly different. Now, just need to be arsed to D/L the curved bullet trails mod. :hmm:
