Then, as I said, the storekeaper didn't care about a release date! And thus you were just plain lucky! Cool for you , a pain in the 4$$ for the rest of us!

As customed to the metric system, I don't mind!
But you're right, it's an American sub, and thus it should be feet, which an ubi guy also said to me somewhere on ubi forum...

From the Dev Team Answer thread on the Ubi forum...

Q: Taifu_Noodle: What units of measurement will SH4 use?
A: Silent Hunter 3 used the same measurements system as the Kriegsmarine - based on the metric system. For Wolves of the Pacific, we will of course use the imperial system since this is the historical solution. However, we are considering to have the game switch to metric as an option.

It looks like the 'option' made it in.. I guess.

Go for it NV! Are you the guy who did the brilliant extended wake MOD for GWX? That was awesome work! Although it was bit annoying waiting for the wake to form everytime you went outside.

@Mossenoodles,

what the heck is FSAA?

People keep mentioning this, but can't you just force it. I think I can force most games to FSAA with my ATi setup.

I do know one thing for sure....if the game is currently being installed by customers who have recieved their copies through legitimate means, then Ubisoft should most definately release every where. Now.
It would be nice, but it'll never happen. This would essentially set a precedent which would allow retailers to dictate release dates. I don't believe publishers would be too excited about this.

To those lucky people receiving SH4 early--enjoy!
