The ships and tanks should be interesting. Would be nice for someone to do something with tanks other than Wargaming.

Sometimes it's nice to just watch the other players to see scenes like this Boom! Some people would say that I'm flying too low here... The driver of that half-track certainly would... Some people would say that THIS is flying too low... Those people would be right... Pretty view though Well, the damage models are good, but they're not Oberon proof. I put my wing and part of my fuselage through two German half-tracks and then bumped along the ground a couple of times and just suffered a broken prop. Still, nothing's perfect. |

As soon as I get my controls mapped**, I swear I'll be running this thing and having fun. While Worlds of Warplanes is nice enough on its own, War Thunder looks like a wee bit more enjoyable.
** = I've tried twice so far to get my gamepad mapped to my preference to no avail; I must be rushing something as I usually don't have tons of time to devote to fiddly crap when I want just want to fly around and shoot things. |

never used a gamepad as a controller, I use mouse and keyboard most of the time, while I do have a few in my squadron playing with joystick and trackIR5

I'm more of a joystick fan myself but I figure that a gamepad kind of gives me more bang for the buck in terms of button usability in a package that is somewhat compact (in my opinion). Eh. Could be an exercise in futility but what the hey.
