What are the realism settings on for that video? it doesn't seem very believable that a bf-110 could turn with a single engined fighter, and it seemed to have a better roll rate that the 190, which it plainly didn't have in real life. Also looked like external views were being used in combat, were they?

@Kratos That footage was from 0 to ~50min of the game, not too many fights were left out. |

I mostly keep External views on as some like dowly likes to record the whole thing and for people that like to make some screenshots. as about the FW190 vs the BF110 well, flying the FW190 seems to be a advantage versus the BF110 but instead the FW190 is a bit of a piggy in turning radius...its too wide and too long as you Bank right hard you will roll over and end up in a stall as the FW190 design was more of a Bomber killer then a dogfighter (like the BF109) I should have picked the 109 instead of the 190 versus Dowly hehehehe but when I launch Co-op missions I mostly crank up the dificulty to a higher level then in just fun Dogfights. you should join us someday Chock it is great fun. you know the hour 22:00GMT +1 and mostly I post a Scramble in the Online play topic. Yup, I was thinking about joining in, but if there are easy settings and external views it would put me off, which is, as you can imagine, why I was asking.

@Hunter: No need to keep the externals on for me. When watching the recorded tracks, I can use the external cam even if it was turned off during the game.

I'll throw in these two commercials. I do not mean to advertise, I have no connection with Aerosoft, but the movies are really nice. They demonstrate the Vienna and Frankfurt airport sceneries for MSFS.
http://www.aerosoft2.de/videos/Frankfurt-w.wmv http://www.aerosoft2.de/videos/Vienna-w.wmv I'm about to update them for my FS9, but I know both airports from FS8 addons. Approach at night is an experience.

That certainly looks very cool, nicely done, but there were some things that gave it away as using the simple flight model, and once or twice some wings and tails hit the ground, which appeared to be carefully edited out by cutting to other sequences.
Still, it looked cool, even if wake turbulence would have made it impossible in real life, and it is certainly one of the best vids I've seen of simulator aerobatics. Chock

When we fly online could we have realistic stalls etc on.

@Chock, dont know about that. It says on one comment from the author that "At our forum there are many tracks of alive performances where we fly on fullreal. There are all these elements of pilotage and more... All our rollers are made on fullreal settings." |

And also, I'd like to see us flying with locked cockpits, icons off, both map & the ones that shows you the range, type etc. of the plane.
Sneaking up on the enemy was the main thing on dogfights. |
