Yeah, he's a good teamplayer is Schroe, I remember a few sorties back in Poland he was covering my six whilst we were P11 hunting below the cloud layer I'd return the favour but I keep losing sight of everyone Good to know it was the debris that took me out rather than me clipping the Blennie though

I usually do this when I believe that there is no "free" aircraft left to take on (none that isn't under attack by a human player). Then I join up with someone who is attacking a plane and cover him.

My math must be all messed. I was told you play at 21GMT. I'm PST on the West Coast of the US. I'm trying to figure out the time difference.

I don't think the Spits are a problem at all. They're faster than the Hurris, but the AI just can't fly them, and you can beat them by quite easily by taking the fight into the vertical. That's unofficially. Officially we had huge problems with them, and new aircraft are definitely needed

Yesterday's sorties, well... The first two were quite ok for me, but the last one was mixed. I had some good cooperation with Schröder while we took out the Blenheims' escorts, but unfortunately that AI 109 tried to cooperate with me a bit too closely That motherfu****. At least I'll remember to stay clear of those *****s anytime I see them in the future.

Congrats on your Blenheims Hunter
IIRC you again downed a bunch of them.

Nah, the spit arent that a problem (unless they you get hit by its 20mm hispano's)
but just in general we really could use some better aircraft (I.E Fw190)

In general, stay away from those AI hornest nest (aka 4 ai chasing 1 enemy)
the AI seems to be blind when it comes to detecting friendly aircraft.
A big loss, If I recall you where one of the top scoring german fighter pilot in our squadron

Had a little score to settle with those Blenheims after they shot my pilot the sortie before...
but they did a number on me too seen here:

got a bit windy in my cockpit, and when I returned to base I noticed I was beeing chased by a Hurricane, giving me hell on my six so decided to bail out as my 109 wasnt going to last any minute longer.

Bloody hell, that's a lot of bullet holes in one plane! No wonder you had a hard time with that Hurri above the airbase.

Schröder was(and is, if he didn't die) our top scorer, and I was on the second spot. Now I'm tempted to switch sides and have a go at those AI 109s
It's one thing to die in battle or make a mistake and crash, but to die like that... Well, no more kill stealing from the AI that's for sure.

Göring is being really cheap, the Brits get Spitfires AND a fresh new squadron of volunteer American pilots, while we have...Emils...arrgh, I can't stand this plane any more

It seems that in DCG the first version of the Fw 190 comes into service in June, 1942 but the Friedrich-4 comes into service in June, 1941, we should be getting it pretty soon (I hope) (It's listed as the upgrade type of the Emil-4, so we SHOULD be getting it, but I don't know much about how DCG works)

I didn't find it too bad last night but my main problem was finding free targets. I usually have enough time to line up on a Spit, then he evades and by the time I find him again he's been bagged by someone else (usually one of the AI seagulls) I did get jumped by two Hurris but they were easy to shake, just a case of waiting until they get close, then slamming the throttle shut and climbing, they shoot past underneath, and then you follow them.
Not quite sure how I lost part of my gear on take-off during the first mission though....sure made landing interesting... :hmm:
