You can see the runway just under the port wing. I didn't want to block the runway for any other a/c.

Had a little foray into FSX for the first time in a while this evening after visiting a few air museums last week has kinda put me in the mood (Pics should be up in GT soon )

Spent half an hour or so in BritSim's fantastic Shackleton 3, one superb piece of freeware, especially with the Griffon sounds

Ahh, a Shackleton. I remember seeing them at airshows belonging to 8 Sqn. Contra-rotating props on Griffon engines. Good for displays, not good for the ground crews.

Only one left flying, afaik, in South Africa.

I know there's one being restored at Coventry airport, but don't know if it's for flying or not. Hope so.

I'm looking at sticking FSX back on soon, looking at replacing HDD first though - I think FSX and my add-ons ran to some 90+ Gigs. Didn't have the Shack though.
