I'd have been more concerned making sure you had enough oxygen and that your spacesuit was properly fitted!

O.K.
I'm afraid I don't know the English term for this gauge. It is equal to the slip indicator that British aircraft have (though they are using pointers instead of the easy solution). All you need to know is if the ball is left out of the centre you have to apply left rudder to get it back and vice versa. Otherwise your nose won't point directly in the direction you plane is actually going (this also throws off your aim btw.).

Is 213 enough?

Highlights of the day include the beautiful F-86 / Hawker Hunter duo, some commentary on the differences between the Merlin and Griffon engines by Captain Slow himself, and a last minute appearance by the Supermarine Seafire since the B-17 was stuck in Denmark due to weather conditions.

Separate thread with photo highlights to come soon.

Strike team inbound to target

Spud, Schroeder, Oberon and Arclight.

The target was hit hard, also hit hard was Schroeder who copped some archie in his engine and had to bail.

Spud meanwhile got some uninvited guests, Oberon was winchester and unable to help, Hunter, Raptor and TF vectored in.

Spud gets away, even damaging one Italian fighter, but is damaged too in the process....and WTF, land battleship...

'Player Left' Raptor engages booster rockets and aims for the moon.

Task Force engages in involuntary aerobatics

Typhoon beauty shot in the setting sun

Arclight lands heavy and loses his tail wheel...and some other unimportant items...

Task Force regains control of his plane and lands, avoiding Spud who suffered an engine cut out on landing and couldn't taxi off the runway.

Little and large.

Arclight gives the lonely Bird Dog some company.

I meant to do that.

Trying to make it lighter for the next long haul, you see? Gives a bit more time on station.
