Cat story update:

Mrs. Growler was able to reach the owners next door, who contacted the former tenant. As of a few moments ago, poor, lost Mickey was reunited with his humans.

Daughter brought him in this morning and locked her other cats out so he could dry out and warm up.

All's well that ends well. Time for a beer.
