I like to pretend I can I but I really can't ....it is much like pretending to be a U-Boat Commander.

I speak German. After two years living in Salzburg and another year cycling around Germany, I can get by. Certainly enough to understand what's going on in the game.

Meine Deutsche is nicht so gut. Apart from that, all I can say is:

"Hallo, du hast ein dicke schlange" don't know how I remembered that one.

And

"Gutentag, meine name is..."

And

"Ein bier bitte"

Ein bier? Well that would confirm to anyone in Germany that you weren't a local. :rotfl: Zehn bier maybe. LOL.

That´s a good thing to say when you are in a gay bar, standing at the urinal next to another guy and staring at his thing. Instant one-night stand!

My first thought was that he is talking to that owner of the Terraristikladen (Reptilian pet shop)..

Yeah, I was wondering when that could ever be useful.

Sorry dude, I'm already taken.

Yeah, I think it was a lesson a long time ago on talking to Terraristikladen owners. Funny word for a reptile pet shop. How do you say terrorist in German then?

I really like the German language, aside from improving my Russian, it's the language I'm most keen to pursue. So to get started, can someone give me a German translation of these commonly used phrases:

Hello, you have nice titties.
(Hallo, du hast sehr schonn ....?)

I'm sorry, I don't have any euros to lend you. I was just at a stripclub.
(Enscholegung, Ich nicht habe die euro..? ....?)

Don't break my legs!
(Erm...no amatuer translation for this one)

I'd like to load up your Panzer.
(....Panzer?)

Your Panzer needs it's tracks lubricated.
(Dein Panzer...?)

I'd like to fire my torpedo at your shipping vessel. Care to indulge me??
(Same as above!)

Are "Panzer" and "Shipping vessel" used as terms for the...female organ in Germany? :rotfl:

Your German is actually quite good, judging from the posts I´ve seen in the German Ubi forum.
