He's about as republican as Larry Flynt is democrat. Both are hangers on with little or no influence within their adopted parties who mainly wish they would just go away.

I think the entire post was meant as a joke. Within that context "Texas" for "taxes" makes perfect sense.

Sure, Love is not always a two way street. I meant that he loves the Republicans, which does not automatically mean that the Republicans love him back

The greatest hilarity is that to some people those are not Liberty Prime quotes but something they would actually say in a discussion and call it an original and well founded argument. If you replace "communism" with some other word, you'll get even wider range of hits.
