WTH i heard on the news tonight that Australia have a vacine ready available if it gets out of hand, yet in NZ we are in the process of making one which will take a few months!

Was playing a little jumpgate lastnight.

One of the guys lives in texas quite near the border.

Now maybe he was being an alarmist but he was saying that the incident rate / fatility rate were much higher than what is being reported in the media. He went on to say that things are much more serious than we are aware of.

Now I hear that the US is posted 'warnings' about travel into mexico. Not quite a ban.... yet. But outright 'closing' of the border is the next step.

All I know is I'm going to be alot more careful about shaking hands, washing hands, and using sanitizer... you know just to make myself feel 'safer'.

so far outbreaks have been confirmed in US, Mex, Canada, Uk and Spain with probable cases in 12 other countrys.

school's been canceled in all mexico till farther notice.

on the plus side no outbreaks have been reported in my state, but im pretty sure that might not last to long.....

EDIT: wikipedia is telling me theres 2 deaths in my state already

who to trust... wiki or local news..

I just heard on one those crazy right wing radio stations (Glenn Beck) that Obama had met a man in Mexico, shook his hand. The man died the next day from swine flue.

That would creep me out.
